The Alkesh was a mid-sized vessel that the Goa’uld used as a troop transport and as a bomber. It was capable of traveling faster than light and could enter a planet’s atmosphere, where it was often used to mount “bombing” raids using plasma charges. The model is based on the original CG asset used on the show.
